The forced predrying of contaminated soil reduces the energy consumption at the rotary kiln and maximizes the efficiency of purifying the contaminated soil.

Feature

This invention relates itself to a heat desorption device for purifying contaminated soil with a dust processing capability, which is characterized by the screw feeders that are installed into a cyclone, an oxidation chamber, a heat exchange unit, and a back filter to transport dust. The silos collect the transported dust while the pelletizer, which receives dust from the silos, turns the dust into solids by applying centrifugal force and spray-binding the materials.

This invention provides a heat desorption device for purifying contaminated soil that contains a rotary kiln, an oxidation chamber, and a waste heat boiler. It also has a predrying capability, which is characterized by the installation of a drying chamber for contaminated soil that is connected with the said waste heat boiler through a heat passage. It recovers waste heat using the said drying chamber and predrying the said soil before it enters the rotary kiln.
